Edwards County Habitat

Edwards County has long been recognized as one of the top destinations to hunt in Texas! The land has a good cover of live oak trees, scattered cedar, agarita, persimmon, mountain laurel and other shrubs native to the area, and this makes for a great wildlife habitat.

Wildlife

There are abundant Whitetail deer and other native game species including Rio Grande Turkey and Hogs.  And hunting isn't limited to native game, as the ranch has various types of free ranging exotic game animals  including Axis deer, and Russian boar/Feral hog crosses.

Terrain

The ranch has terrain ranging  from rolling hills to rugged canyons. The land is covered with live oak, cedar, and mesquite trees. Browse plants include Texas persimmon, shin oak, agarita, and mountain laurel, an excellent white-tailed deer food.
